here is our quick guide for your hand luggage if your have booked flights to lanzarote. Due to the higher level in security at all airports there is certain items that you are not permitted to take on flights to Lanzarote or any other flights.

Hand luggage Information

To avoid delays at the airport take time to read the hand luggage guide lines and don't pack dangerous objests in your hand luggage. Any fobidden items found in hand luggage will be removed at strict security checks before boarding the plane. Items will be disposed of and unlikely to be returned.

The security personnel may refuse access to the boarding area and the aircraft cabin to any person in possession of an article that, though not among those prohibited, causes them safety or security concerns.

Products not allowed in hand luggage or in checked-in luggage

Although it may surprise you, some seemingly harmless products can be dangerous on board an aircraft if they are packed in your hand luggage.

An aircraft is not an automobile. During the flight, the variations in pressure and temperature, as well as the normal movement of the aircraft, can cause liquid spills or ignition of certain articles. Therefore, you should not carry, for example, the following products in your luggage:

Explosives (including detonators, fuses, grenades, mines and pyrotechnic articles).
Gases: propane, butane (including small camping gas canisters).
Flammable liquids (including petrol, methanol, paint, solvents, glue and lighter fuel).
Solid flammable or reactive substances (including magnesium, matches and lighters, fireworks and flares).
Oxidants or organic peroxides (such as bleaches or abrasive substances).
Poisonous or infectious substances (rat poison, infected blood).
Radioactive material (including isotopes for medical or commercial use).
Corrosive substances (such as car batteries).
Engine parts that have previously contained fuel.

If you are transporting firearms you must contact the Weapons Intervention Department at the departure airport to obtain the necessary authorisation. The weapons must be packed in a suitable case and will be returned to you at the Weapons Intervention Department at your destination airport.

Certain electronic equipment, such as laptops or mobile telephones can interfere with the aircraft's systems and affect flight safety. Ask the crew if you may use such equipment during the flight.
